SeaSucker 4.5-Inch Vacuum Mount

The SeaSucker 4.5-Inch Vacuum Mount provides a strong and removable mounting point for a wide range of compatible accessories and custom applications.

The vacuum mount uses a pump-operated system to create and maintain vacuum against a suitable smooth, clean, flat and non-porous surface. Its visible orange vacuum indicator band allows the user to monitor the vacuum level during use.

Accessories can be attached using the threaded stainless steel insert or by removing the upper housing and using the mounting slots, depending on the application and load.

Correct surface selection, preparation, installation, monitoring and maintenance are essential to achieving full vacuum performance.

SeaSucker also lists a manufacturer load rating of 40 lb, approximately 18.1 kg, under the conditions specified in the SeaSucker Vacuum Mount Usage Guide.

Direct-pull strength and load rating are different specifications. Actual performance depends on the mounting surface, load direction, leverage, installation and application.

The SeaSucker guide notes that its load rating is based on use on the upper side of a horizontally oriented static surface and that leverage or differently oriented loads reduce effective capacity.

The SeaSucker 4.5-Inch Vacuum Mount must be installed, inspected, monitored and maintained in accordance with the SeaSucker Vacuum Mount Usage Guide.

Correct surface selection, preparation, positioning and operation of the vacuum mount are essential to achieving full vacuum performance.

The vacuum mount must only be fitted where the complete sealing area can sit correctly against a suitable smooth, clean, flat and non-porous surface.

The orange vacuum indicator band must remain visible to the user so the vacuum level can be monitored during use.

If the orange vacuum indicator band becomes visible, operate the pump again in accordance with the SeaSucker instructions. If the indicator repeatedly becomes visible, discontinue use and inspect the mounting surface and vacuum mount before continuing.

The complete sealing area of the vacuum pad must be able to sit correctly against the surface.

Do not fit the mount to rough, porous, heavily textured, dirty, damaged or uneven surfaces, or where the sealing edge cannot make complete contact.

Operate the SeaSucker pump until the orange vacuum indicator band is no longer visible.

Position the mount so the indicator remains visible and can be monitored during use.

For more substantial accessories, the upper housing can be removed so the accessory can be secured through the slotted mounting holes.
