The Boss Magnetic Feet Kit provides a removable mounting option for compatible Boss Starlink Mini mounts.

Each Magnetic Foot uses a high-grade N52 NdFeB neodymium magnet beneath a protective TPE contact surface. The TPE coating helps protect the magnet and helps reduce marking when both the Magnetic Foot and mounting surface are kept clean.

The four-foot set creates a stable four-point mounting arrangement. Individual Magnetic Feet are also available as replacements or for applications requiring additional units.

It does not represent sideways, wind or dynamic holding capacity. Actual performance depends on steel thickness, surface condition, paint and coatings, contact area, mounting orientation, vehicle movement and environmental conditions.

Compatible Boss mounts

The Boss Magnetic Feet fit the full Boss Starlink Mini mount range, with the exception of the Boss Suction Mount, which attaches by vacuum and does not use the Magnetic Feet.

Magnetic Feet require suitable ferrous-steel mounting surfaces. They will not attach correctly to aluminium, fibreglass, plastic or non-magnetic stainless steel.

Straightforward installation

Each Magnetic Foot attaches to a compatible Boss mount through its integrated M8 × 15 mm threaded stud.

The standard hardware arrangement is:

Position the Magnetic Feet so every foot makes full contact with a clean, flat and suitable ferrous-steel surface.

Clean surfaces are essential

Clean and inspect the underside of every Magnetic Foot and the selected mounting surface before installation.

Remove dust, sand, metal particles and other contaminants. Material trapped between the TPE coating and mounting surface may reduce magnetic performance or damage painted surfaces.

Place and remove the Magnetic Feet carefully. Do not drag them across painted panels.

Inspect the TPE coating regularly and discontinue use if it becomes split, badly worn, hardened or damaged.

What is included in the four-foot set?

Four Magnetic Feet with the confirmed supplied mounting hardware. The compatible Boss mount and Starlink Mini are not included.

Can I purchase one Magnetic Foot?

Yes. Individual Magnetic Feet are available for $25 including GST.

What surfaces will they attach to?

They are designed for clean, flat and suitable ferrous-steel surfaces. Magnetic performance varies according to steel thickness, coatings, surface condition and contact area.

Will they attach to aluminium?

No. The Magnetic Feet require a magnetic ferrous-steel surface. They will not attach correctly to aluminium, fibreglass, plastic or non-magnetic stainless steel.

Will the TPE coating protect painted surfaces?

The TPE coating helps reduce marking and scratching when the Magnetic Feet and mounting surface are clean. Dirt, sand or metal particles trapped between the surfaces may cause damage. The product should not be described as completely non-marking.

What does the 30 kg rating mean?

It is the supplier-tested direct perpendicular pull-out force for one Magnetic Foot under the supplier's test conditions with the TPE coating fitted. It is not a sideways, wind or dynamic vehicle holding-capacity rating.

Can I use these with any Starlink mount?

No. They should only be used with confirmed compatible Boss Starlink Mini mounts.
