Suits the Boss Pro Lockable Mount for Starlink Mini.
Converts a suitable 12 V or 24 V vehicle, canopy, caravan or auxiliary battery supply into a regulated 30 V output for your Starlink Mini, so the Mini can run directly from DC power without an inverter or the standard 240 V supply. The complete module mounts inside the Pro Lockable Mount with an integrated Anderson plug input and a 500 mm Starlink power lead, keeping the converter and wiring contained within the housing.
Running the Mini at a regulated 30 V lowers the current on the Starlink-side lead and helps prevent the dropouts caused by voltage drop — and the black powder-coated bracket fits with the two supplied M6 screws in about a minute.
Module only. The Boss Pro Lockable Mount and Starlink Mini are not included.
The Boss Step-Up Power Module is an integrated power solution developed specifically for the Boss Pro Lockable Mount for Starlink Mini. It converts a suitable 12 V or 24 V vehicle, canopy, caravan or auxiliary battery supply into a regulated 30 V output for the Starlink Mini.
The complete module mounts neatly inside the Pro Lockable Mount, keeping the converter and its wiring contained within the aluminium housing. An integrated Anderson plug input and a 500 mm Starlink Mini power lead allow direct DC operation without relying on a separate inverter or the standard 240 V power supply.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, on a purpose-built black powder-coated bracket that installs with the two supplied M6 cap-head screws in about a minute.
Module only. The Boss Pro Lockable Mount and the Starlink Mini device are not included.
Although the Starlink Mini accepts a 12–48 V DC input, it draws a similar amount of power regardless of the supply voltage — so as voltage falls, current rises. At approximately 60 W, the Mini may require around 5 A at 12 V, 2.5 A at 24 V or 2 A at 30 V. Higher current places more load on cables, plugs, sockets and connections, which matters particularly with cigarette-lighter-style plugs and sockets.
By converting the supply to a regulated 30 V output close to the mount, the Step-Up Power Module reduces current and voltage drop on the Starlink-side lead while delivering consistent voltage to the Mini — helping to avoid the dropouts and restarts caused by insufficient voltage reaching the unit.
For integrated automatic cooling as well as 12 V–24 V to 30 V power conversion, choose the Boss Thermal Protection Power Module.
