LandCruiser 79 Series Trays & Canopies

A 79 Series build often brings the tray, canopy and chassis into the same decision. The space you need for touring or work has to be planned alongside the vehicle’s cab and any chassis extension.

We manufacture M-Spec and Premium Trays for standard and extended 79 Series chassis configurations. Our Twin 79 builds show how a Premium Tray, modular canopy and touring equipment can come together. We’ll help you plan the layout for your LandCruiser.

Twin 79 Touring Layouts

Our Twin 79 builds pair Premium Trays with 1690 mm M-Spec canopies, upright fridge enclosures, pantries, T15 and T10 drawers and 12V equipment. Their chassis were extended by 300 mm.

Use these builds to plan fridge access, pantry storage and drawer clearance. We’ll check the canopy length and mounting against your cab, chassis and model year.

Chassis & GVM Upgrade Planning

Tell us about any existing or proposed chassis work before choosing tray dimensions. We’re an authorised JMACX dealer. Explore our GVM upgrades to compare the options.

Upgrade options depend on the exact vehicle and proposed load. Discuss the cab, engine, model year and registration details with us so the relevant kit and requirements can be checked.

Australian Manufacturing & Workmanship

We manufacture our trays and canopies in Melbourne, with in-house design, laser cutting, bending and powder coating. Our Australian-owned family business dates back to 2000. A lifetime warranty covers our workmanship; confirm separate terms for other supplied equipment.

79 Series Tray & Canopy FAQs

What Tray Length Suits A Standard 79 Series?

Our standard dual cab 79 Series tray is 1800 mm long in both ranges. A standard single cab is 2500 mm in M-Spec and 2400 mm in Premium. All are 1850 mm wide. Confirm fitment for your exact vehicle.

What Changes With A 300 mm Chassis Extension?

For a dual cab 79 Series with a 300 mm chassis extension, our tray length is 2100 mm in M-Spec and 2000 mm in Premium. Both ranges offer a 2800 mm tray for a single cab with a 300 mm chassis extension. Confirm that the tray suits your particular extension and mounting arrangement.

Can I Use The Twin 79 Canopy Layout?

Use our Twin 79 builds as a starting point for your equipment layout. They had extended chassis and 1690 mm canopies, so confirm the shell, components and mounting for your own LandCruiser.

How Much Does A 79 Series Tray & Canopy Cost?

Price depends on the cab and chassis, tray range, canopy, fit-out and fitting work. Ask for a quote that sets out GST, installation, delivery, removal of the existing tub or tray if needed, and any vehicle modifications.

Can The Tray, Canopy & GVM Upgrade Be Planned Together?

Discuss the complete load and intended vehicle use with us. Upgrade eligibility and requirements need confirmation for your model, engine, cab and registration details before the final build is specified.
